RWCO is seeking a proposal-scribing unicorn. The ideal candidate would have more than 10 years of direct experience in proposal writer, with the skill and confidence necessary to write within an environment that includes data calls, SME interview(s), solution discussions, creative problem solving, and proposal compliance/subject mastery. The ideal candidate would also have to be a massive self-starter and entrepreneurial in mindset, capable of working on multiple projects at once for multiple, different clients.

A unicorn….with the knowledge and experience to lead and manage clients and stakeholders.  In this role you will work closely with RWCO Clients, RWCO leadership, and other experienced/accomplished professionals.  Formal training in proposal and compliance methodologies are viewed as beneficial but not a requirement.

Duties:

  • Maintain ongoing project communications with Client (status calls on proposal)
  • Create proposal response calendar and plans for view/approval by potential clients.
  • Work with Client staff, to include Capture and Proposal Team on specific pursuits you have an opportunity to contribute to the developing the winning proposal strategy by leading compliant proposal volumes and refining themes and discriminators.
  • Must be able to write clear, persuasive, compliant, and compelling proposal sections/volumes
  • Must be able to conceptualize complex graphics to communicate disparate management and technical information in a concise manner
  • Must thoroughly understand proposal compliance and the importance of document architecture and integration
  • Must work with proposal operations, functional, and business line contributors to clearly define and articulate client-specific solution and strategy, win themes, and discriminators.
  • Research, organize, write, edit, and produce sections for major proposals, White Papers and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Apply journalistic skills to subject matter by interviewing program managers and other management and technical experts, attending meetings, and researching online sources and other substantive source material to write technical proposal materials.
  • Develop oral presentation slide content and work with orals teams to refine presentations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences
  • 10+ years of related Federal proposal writing experience in a government contracting environment for multi-teammate, solutions-based proposals
  • Proven ability to manage several tasks on multiple proposals simultaneously, while meeting deadlines
