Our vented gas log fireplace is extremely drafty and ice cold in the winter (when not operating, even with the flue closed).  The slate in front of the fireplace and the surrounding mantle area become extremely cold and the incoming cold air creates a freezing convection current in the room. We'd like help figuring our where the air is coming from and thinking through and executing a possible solution. Thank you.
