Hello.

I have a 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe with 124,300 miles.  My car has been making a knocking noise from the engine for a few weeks but check engine light did not come on nor was I having any issues with it.  I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden my car would not go over 60 mph.

Then the check engine light came on.  I received an email from Hyundai Bluelink with the following message "A possible condition with your Engine Control System has been detected'.

I took the car to a local garage who did a diagnostic and they said I would need to take it to the Hyundai Dealership. I took it to Fitzgerald Hyundai Gaithersburg who also did a thorough diagnostic.  They provided the following recommendation.

Replacement of the following:

• Bank 1 Timing Chain
• Tensioners and Guides
• Cam Phasers and Sprochets

I am looking for a mechanic or car repair shop who can do this work and provide me with a pricequote.
