Duties:

- Provide direct support and companionship to patients with developmental disabilities or memory care needs

- Assist the cna with needs my mom will need help with

- Perform heavy lifting tasks to help patients move safely

- Document my mom sugar, blood pressure, oxygen, temperature, wounds

- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the patient

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's comfort and safety

Skills:

- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or in memory care settings

- Keep documentation of everything that goes on when you are present there

- Please make sure she is dry not saturated with pee or soiled, she has a bedsore so please make sure that the nurse or wound nurse has clean it , treated it, and change the bandage. Please make sure her arms & legs are being elevated. It’s mandatory that she has to be turned every 2 hours because of her bed sore. So please make sure the cna is rotating my mom every 2 hours, they most likely will need assistance

- Knowledge of direct support techniques and behavior management strategies

- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks when required

- keep close attention on her feeding tube, if not cleaned please asked the nurse to clean it.

- Strong organizational skills to keep the patient's environment clean and safe

- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus
