Hey, I have an old two panel door I tried to switch hardware out on and spruce up with new handle but discovered it was missing the wood behind to screw in the catch plate to the door. Now I need to get a new door and have it hung. Would prehung or slab be easier/cheaper from a labor perspective? It would be going into an existing door frame so if prehung some of the existing molding may need to be trimmed. Please respond with prices. Photo is of the door I’m replacing.
