LG Tromm Dryer "Check Filter" Indicator comes on

Gig Description

The "check filter" indicator light on my LG TROMM  dryer comes on immediately I push the power button to start.  I have removed the link in the filter and the filter is clean but the "check filter" indicator continues to blink.   


The dryer is not starting.
