In full transparency, the first contractor rescheduled and then rescheduled again for the weekend, but then I never heard from him.  He did not call me until this past Monday with excuses about why he forgot. 

The second Contractor wanted to come and do an estimate that afternoon around 12PM.  I kept contacting him and contacting him.  He did not get back to me until 5PM to let me know that the job he is on took longer.  I rescheduled for the next day at 10AM.  That morning, he texted me to let me know that he is not available, but is going to send his brother.  I kept asking if his brother will still be coming at 10AM.  He finally got back to me to say that he could not tell me what time or day his brother could come. 

The last contractor has been stringing me along, so I have stopped responding to his texts. 

With that being said, I am looking for a Contractor who can COMMIT to dates and times that we agree to.  I have been extremely flexible, more than accommodating and understand running late and needing to reschedule when it is within reason, but not EVERY single time.  All these Contractors are contacting me for is to just keep rescheduling.  

If you have taken on too many projects and cannot get to mine any time soon, that is fine.  Overbooking yourself is not going to work for me.  I am already a week behind with just trying to get an estimate.
