Build a typical wooden stair case per code in arlington Va. I’m looking to build the least expensive stair case that meets code. Nothing ornate. Just practical.  the door already exists at the main floor where the top of the stairs will connect.  the stairs will run straight down to the basement floor. no fog legs, no landings.one side of the stairs is a basement wall; the other side would require a railing.  I am looking for labor only quotes.  its probably a day or two at most job.  two stringers, open treads and one hand railing.  if code permits then no risers.  i will put $1 as cost but I want a price quote for the job and a list of material that i will buy.
