Need Regulator Replaced on Propane Tank for Gas Logs

I have gas logs works well and pilot light comes on easily and stays lite for ever.  However, when I turn on the gas logs themselves it only stays on for about 5 to 10 minutes before it suddenly turns off.   Read that is could be a regulator on the propane that needs to be replaced.
