Install exterior roof hatch

I am looking to add a roof hatch for access to my rooftop HVAC unit. The hatch will be in the ceiling of our covered outdoor terrace, up to our low-sloped rubberized roof. The job would involve opening up a hole in the ceiling, header-ing roof joists, installing the hatch, re-finishing the roofing around the new opening, and moving one light fixture.
