Ceiling falling

The ceiling in a 1st floor room is falling down. There are cracks everywhere but I had no idea this was going to happen. As I write this I hear another little piece fall. Right now I just need to stop it and get advice on fixing. This is an old fixer upper, so I'm a little nervous.
