installing a door to a basement rec room entrance

I would like to have a door installed for our basement entrance.   I will need a door and frame, as well as painting.  The major purpose is to block noises from upstairs.  I would like to get a sturdy door, hopefully a used one to reduce the expenses and since used one seemed better constructed.  I may need help getting a used door from a restore.   I am willing to spend around $700 including the labor and materials.  I would like to get someone who has some experiences of installing a door and the surrounding frameworks.  It is not just installing a new door.
