Fulltime Bookkeeper with Office Manager Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: All work to be done in the law office, this is not a remote work job. Hours are 9-5:30pm. Pay commensurate with experience.
Create Settlements/payment plans as needed, Monitor Statute of Limitations, Monitor Bill of Particular deadlines, Review payments from various accounts and upload and enter payments in the main system, handle bank deposits on a weekly basis, Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis.
All Customer end of month remittances and a few weekly remittances, Write all cost checks (GDC, CC, liens) Mail court filings to court after cost check is written, Process Payroll
Some HR responsibilities, responding to client inquiries which can be via phone, or email, Status reports to clients (some on monthly basis, some as requested)
Send invoices to clients for court costs, Enter all cost checks from clients into main system, Monitor VISA and AMEX charges, Pay office expenses/bills, Send Asset Search requests, Order office supplies as needed.
Ensure office equipment is in working condition,Train new employees, Bank deposits to bank; Take court filings to court
